actually, he already appears, after a long time "in exile". he even calls the agent later (judy) that he thought vermouth must be a nice person, since everyone thinks really nice of him

Yea. SPOILER (highlight to read): Dr. Araide appears again in volume 46 ( as I remember ). He told Conan that Judy has told him about Vermouth and everything that happened. But whether he knew that Conan = Shinichi or not, I can't see yet
